Mobile Auto Glass Services: Safe, Quick and Convenient

Mobile auto glass service is a convenient way to have your windshield or auto glass replaced or repaired. Offered by an increasing number of auto glass repair services, it eliminates the need to drive your vehicle to a workshop to get your car’s auto glass repaired.

Instead, mobile installers from the auto glass service will drive over to wherever your car is located and replace or repair the auto glass on the spot. This means that you no longer have to drive to a workshop under risky conditions, such as a badly cracked windshield or broken glass in the car.

As the awareness of the mobile auto glass service increases, people may have their windshields repaired sooner. It has been estimated that three out of four windshields that have been replaced could have been kept in use if they were repaired sooner.

Therefore, car owners could save a lot more money (as windshield repair is significantly cheaper than windshield replacement). Additionally, the factory fitting of the original windshield in the car could also be preserved. This is important because the factory fitting is almost always superior to the installation of replacement windshields.

According to ABC 20/20, nearly seventy percent of windshield installations are done improperly. Because windshields are classified as a safety device by the FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards), repairing your original windshield could help you retain the original level of safety your car provides.

Mobile auto glass service is also convenient as it allows you to do whatever you need to or want to do while the mobile installers repair the auto glass in your car. You could watch a movie, have lunch, work or stay at home while the mobile installers do their job.

It is important to note that the time required before the vehicle is ready for use does not change. The adhesives used during windshield installation may require anywhere between 1 hour to 24 hours to set and bond permanently.

Local Auto Glass is one of the top windshield replacement and repair services. Offering lifetime warranty on all parts and workmanship, we also offer free mobile auto glass service. Our team of NGA (National Glass Association) certified professional mobile installers can replace your car’s windshields or auto glass wherever it is located. Visit our website to contact us or get a quote and get a free coupon worth $10 off on windshield replacement and repair.

  1. Your car's front windshield is made by reinforced pressure and heat procedures that ensure that even when the glass breaks it does minimum to no damage to the passengers inside. When it is a question of life and death, taking care of your windshield should be one of your car maintenance priorities.

  8. A set up by a professional contemporary windshield defends residents in more ways than many people recognize, it is MUCH more than a hurdle against the elements. These days, a windows is a key element in the architectural reliability and protection of the traveler section, not just a wind screen.

    1. Thank GOD we went with these guys. They were on time, made my wife feel good (I was at work) by being extremely professional
and their technician did the job quickly. Nice to know there is someone out there that is NOT working out of the back of their
house that will be there today AND tomorrow. Don't know what those June 1st reviews are about - sort of odd to see those all
on one day when the rest are more along what my wife and I think. These guys were more than good.

  20. I think one of the scariest things in life, aside from spiders, is having a rock hit your windshield while driving. It doesn't even have to be a big rock All it has to do is make that little pop sound and I jump. I laugh right afterward and check to see if I need my windshield repaired. I think I've only ever had to replace it once from a rock though.

  24. The passenger side window has started to have some streaks on it. It is has been really hard to see through it. I'm not sure what caused it, but I think it is from the sun. It would be really nice to get it replaced and see out of it again. My brother does a lot of electrical work where he lives. It would be nice to have him come work on my house for a few days. The only problem is that he lives too far to just come over and work on my house. http://www.dunedinelectric.com/services/residential-service/

    1. Replacing a windshield is hard to do by yourself. Be careful when handling the glass. Also, don't press it in too hard or it could warp.

  28. My husband and I were driving down the freeway behind a semi truck and it flipped a little rock up on our windshield. It left the smallest little rock chip, which spread in the next few days to a crack covering the whole window. It was a serious problem, and was very dangerous to drive with. http://www.all-westglass.com/
